Hello,

so after allot of searching i found this forum but on it not realy an answer.
So i hope someone can help me.

i was just working on my pc when i noticed that the 'battery power light' wasn't on anymore so i checked if maybe there was a power outage, but the green light on the power brick remained on. so after 5 minutes the pc starts beeping due to low power, so i shut it down.

i already tried to remove/reseat the battery but with no effect. the power/charging light on the pc doesn't burn anymore and the battery doesn't charge. don't tell me i have to replace my whole MB just for the stupid ac plug on the pc.
i already saw the MB costs 400$

so please help as i am out of ideas.
thx

so 2day i tested my power brick and it still gives the 20V and max of 9 amps on 2 ohm resistance.

also tested it on an lcd tv and it still works.
so the problem lays somewhere on the Mainboards DC circuit. anyone knows what i can try next.
Maybe some kind of external power supply hoocked on the battery of my pc and thus letting my pc think i have a constant full battery in my pc.
any ideas.
thanx
