~Conversion Formulas ~

Fahrenheit to Celsius:
*Note: all calculations are either rounded up or down for whole numbers. (F-32) * 5 / 9 = Degrees Celsius

Here's an example. Let's say you wanted to convert 75 degrees Fahrenheit into degrees Celsius. The letter F in the equation will equal your Fahrenheit number (56).

Step 1: Subtract 32 from F:
75 - 32 = 43

Step 2: Multiply 43 by 5:
43 * 5 = 215

Step 3: Divide 215 by 9:
215 / 9 =24 degrees Celsius

Celsius to Fahrenheit:
*Note: all calculations are either rounded up or down for whole numbers.
(C*9) / 5 + 32= Degrees Fahrenheit

Here's an example. Let's say you wanted to convert 24 degrees Celsius into degrees Fahrenheit. The letter C in the equation will equal your Celsius number (24).

Step 1: Multiply C by 9:
24 * 9 = 216

Step 2: Divide 216 by 5:
216 / 5 = 43

Step 3: Add 32 to 43:
43 + 32 = 75 degrees Fahrenheit

I assume that last part was 75 degrees Fahrenheit. And thank you for that lesson Yee, that should help wazzap clear up his temperature problems.
thanks for pointing out that error. made the edit. boy, that would've really confused wazzup.

m8 im using speedfan..... ive checked my temps on mbm too.... trust me.. :P those temps are right.... the other dudez who have the same model have the same average temp!

LOl... Yee's post ( conversion formulas ) reminds me of my 8th grade science... the good ol' days!!!! though now that google is invented i woudnt bother converting celcius to farhenheit using the formula .. i'd just google it

FYI... MBM doesn't work on Area51m systems. Plus... If they ARE right (they're not) it would burn a hole through whatever surface you're playing on and you'd have a lump of plastic with a nice paintjob right now.

He said those temps were from a Toshiba...

Alright. If wazzup was right and his computer temps are reaching 87 celsius...and is idling at 55. The conversions are as follows:

87 Celsius = 188.6 Fahrenheit. 55 Celsius = 131 Fahrenheit.

That is HOT.

Whoops.. Stupid short attention span.. >.<
Toshiba must have made one super ****ty laptop then. Hmm.. I was looking at a toshiba TV the other day too... Smoke is supposed to come out of TVs, right?

I don't care who made it, there is not way in hell that the system could get that friggin hot... Do you realize that that is as hot as an oven? He could be gaming and baking cookies or something at the same time! Suddenly I see a use for that Tower with a built in coffee machine...

anyways m8 ewolf... thanks for the pics and sorry ... didnt mean to "hijack" ur thread....

*ahem* my Tosh S705 registered 94 degrees celsius at one time.. And, yes, the case was melting. Got the mobo replaced, didn't do a damn thing.
ye i reached 94 degrees once too while playing max payne 2 but it shut down the very next minute my case didnt melt though...

cheers
