My next purchase will be rechargable batteries. I need 11 batteries for everything!

You have alot of the same stuff i have! So what your saying is that you don't need to plug in the power suply..
Is it still able to re-charge and stuff without it?

I think you misunderstood. You do not need to plug in the PS/2 plug. I have not tired it without the power, but i assume it is for charging the batteries.

ewolff, how long is the keyboard and mx700 mouse supposed to last with one set of batteries? If you can give me an approximation in hours after using it for sometime, that would be appreciated, thanks

The mouse has rechargable betteries and the base is the charger. The keyboard uses two batteries. I do not know the lifetime as I just got it.

Hey, this forum is really kewl~ it helped me make my decision on AW over Sager... I pic'd AW for the design... I know its alot of "Doe" to put out for the design.. but it looks kewl and from the sounds of it, the only flaw is the backpak... that could be a big or little problem depending on the "FALL"... Anyways, thank alot.. at first I thought that the pictures were a little too much.. but after having been able to see the product before purchase was Great!

I can usually use mine for about 2-3 days without being recharged. But i usually just set it on the re-charger when i head off to bed.

ewolff- ya i got it mixed up i guess. but it is nice to know that i don't need both of them pluged in.

Yep. I have the Antec notebook cooler too, but I have not taken any pictures of it yet.

I still need to buy a truckload of rechargable batteries, a firewire drive enclosure and a ~200gb hard drive for data storage. And of course anything else that catches my eye.

By the way, does anyone know anything about these?

It is supposed to be a hard drive enclosure that AW does not sell anymore. Thats all I know. From the looks of it, it takes 2.5" drives.
