Superman Edition...faster than a speeding bullet? - Page 4

sweet, 274 is the Game ID # for Halo 3..

I was worried because the only other claim to fame I could find for it was it's a Tribonacci number. which is obviously really important..

well, Superman died again last night. Same damn problem, it just shuts off when something is moved.
Gonna suck to be whoever answers the phone when I call them because I'm seriously not happy...

You have some Kryptonite around the house or something? Well I hope it works out for ya

I think I'm just unfortunate enough to get an AW dud..

so, it has a problem they've never heard of before.. and it's back on its way to Memphis, again..

really odd part is now I have to press the music button to power it on, the power button won't do anything. I think they need to just scrap it and give me something else. I'll settle for a 5550 that actually works..

it looks funny, lol, haha.

that was constructive, feel free to go away..

so anyhow, Superman came back yesterday and once again appears to be working. they replaced a switch.
my major beef is the f00kers @ AW don't tell you it's coming back. I came home Friday to a note on my door from FedEx saying they were there, but I wasn't.. I sure as hell would've been there if stupid AW would've tole me it had shipped.
but oh well, AW also sent a survey in my e-mail and I let off some frustration on them. hopefully someone calls me because they've really screwed up on this one..

Glad to hear that the kryptonite has been removed from Superman and ready to take off.

Well, the computer is still working, although I won't hold my breath on it not breaking again.

I'm definitely never buying anything from AW again though. I filled out the survey on this laptop recently and gave it awful marks because they've handled it like really bad amateurs. I also said I wanted to be personally contacted and they freaking e-mailed me.. that was so lame that I told them to just forget it and they've lost another customer..

I know what you mean. I've been through two m5550's. I finally bought a Macbook Pro. Love it. I was a Mac person and came back to PC to play games again. Now contemplating switching completely back to Mac because of Boot Camp.

I still love PC's and am an admitted microsoft fanboy, but I'm over AW. Dell pissed me off a couple times, but someone always made sure I got what I wanted. I usually had to go over the first persons head, but as long as I got what I wanted I was happy.
AW has done absolutely nothing to make sure I'm happy and sending an e-mail asking me if I actually wanted to be contacted was totally pathetic. If I didn't want to be contacted then I surely would not have marked it on the survey..
