Swap wireless mini PCI card from Centrino notebook to Pentium M

I have 2 Dell Latitude D600 one is Pentium M and the other one is Centrino. I swaped the Wifi mini PCI card and now when I boot up my Pentium M D600 it shows the cenrtino logo instead of the Pentium M. Its no big deal because both are working fine, its just the logo change thats annoying. The centrino originally has the intel pro wireless card and the Pentium M used the Dell True Mobile card.

I had it changes because I like the intel pro wireless better.

Is there anyway to retain the boot up logo for my Pentium M laptop?

Cheers.

Nope. Intel Pentium-M CPU + Intel Chipset + Intel Wireless = Automatic Centrino machine. Centrino is the combination of the three components.

Other option is to use a custom BIOS splash screen and have a different image there. http://www.bay-wolf.com/splash.htm
