Latitude D610 Hard Drive

Hi,

What is the maxium capacity HDD that the Lat D610 (with BIOS vA03) will take?

I know that I need to buy a PATA drive but I've been getting conflicting reports about maxium supported size and wanted to ask for a definitive answer.

I'm fairly certain that the chipset in the D610 has no problem with large hard drives. I have a desktop with the same chipset (i915) and it's PATA controller had no problem with a 250GB drive. Of course now I use SATA in that system. You should be ok with a drive over 137GB.
