So I recently reformatted my M6Ne and to my chagrin I'm having more problems than before. I'm used the same windows xp pro cd that I previously had installed.
First off, it won't let me install the ATK0100 utility. Everytime I run the install program it simply says install failed right at the beginning.
Next, my speedstep doesn't seem to be working... nor does Windows detect when I'm running from battery power. I have speedswitchxp installed and it won't throttle down from 1.5 ghz after starting the computer up from AC power. If I start the computer up from battery power, it simply stays at 600 mhz, and speedswitch even reports the max speed of the CPU as 600 mhz. And when running from battery, speedswitch also reports me as being on AC still regardless of how I start up the system (i.e. plugged in or not).
Does anyone have any ideas? Should I try to reformat again? Please help!
