Did Warrantech at least confirm they were the ones who should be handling your extended warranty? According to their policies page, http://www.pctorque.com/policies_old.php
, PCTorque also uses Philips Magnavox for extended warranty service. Their warranty doesn't require you to register the way the Warrantech one does, so they might not have sent you paperwork as a result of that. If you're having a hard time getting in touch with PCTorque, you can call Philips direct, 24/7, 365 days a year, to see if they have any record of you. First call 888-638-7377
to get your warranty certificate number. They can usually give you that based off your serial number or your invoice number whichever you have handy. If that goes alright, call 800-526-1862
and give them that certificate number. They should be able to help you from that point.
If Philips says they have no record of you, then Warrantech must be your provider, and therefore PCTorque should have sent you paperwork so you could register your warranty, and if they didn't then they should really be assisting you with this matter now. I'd keep calling and writing until someone helps to rectify the situation.
Rather than swear off Sager forever, consider looking at other resellers for future purchases.
