Portable laptop

I'm looking to get a new laptop, at the minute I have a 17" Inspiron 9400, but it's too big and battery life is poor. I bought a copy of 'What laptop' magazine, hoping to find some reviews, but the majority of laptops reviewed were 15.4" or 17". I'm looking for a 12" - 14" laptop with good battery life. Gigabit and 802.11n would also be great, but not essential. Does anyone have any suggestions or know where I could find a wide range of reviews?

hello,

gateway has a 12.1 and 14.1 laptop.
hp has a 12.1
i haven't checked all manufacturers, but i would guess that most have a 14.1.
the ones i've checked often could not upgrade the video graphics
