Hi Eveyone
I wonder if any one could please help me !
Im looking for a new notepad to do video editing on, and the ones I have seen don't have a IEEE 1394 port on them but have a Pc sard (PCMIA)slot on. I know you can get Firewire to PCMIA adapters but I can't find any that say they are compatible with windows VISTA does any body know of any..
Many Thanks.

There are plenty of PCMCIA 1394 cards available. Who knows if they work with the new Windows. Why do you need Windows Vis-duh for audio and video editing?

Try going to www.adaptec.com or try www.belkin.com they should state if they are compatible.

Are you sure your video editing software works in Vista?
Why not find one that has XP on it?
