There are a few insurance companies out there that will let you purchase accidental damage and more coverage for a fee for your MBP. I can't think of any off hand, but they do exist, just google it and you should come up with some. Though some of the hits may just lead you back to this thread.

There is a company called SafeWare that will insure it, but I am not sure if they handle single machines. I contacted them for my school since the department that I am in was looking at getting a fleet (the technical term
) or MBPs and we wanted to make sure that they were protected. So I do know that the prices were reasonable considering the coverage. It pretty much covered anything that could happen, fire, theft, airline loss, natural disaster, water damage, accidental damage... you get the idea. So long as you don't intentionally break it, they will get it fixed. IIRC the coverage came out to something like for every dolllar you spend with them, 6 dollars of the machine is covered. So if the machine was $1800, then that is $300 for 3 years of accidental damage, about on par with Dell for example.
