Aspire 3680/2633 Vista: 4-way scroll not working

I have just purchased an Acer Aspire 3680/2633 with Vista basic. I uninstalled the Norton/Symantec (changed anti-virus program) and upgraded my Vista - now the 4-way scrolling does not work. I have checked the Device Manager properties and it says that the scrolling feature is enabled. I have been looking for a Synaptic touchpad driver v9.1.0.0, thinking that maybe I need to re-install this to get the 4-way scroll to work. I just haven't found any place to download the driver. I sure could use some help with this. Thank you.

Thank you for the web page for downloads. I just wanted to make sure that the Synaptic Touchpad download v9.1.0q is for Acer Aspire 3680/2633/Vista Home 32-bit. Is this what you have? (when I look at my Device Manager properties, it says Synaptic v9.1.0.0) If this is same, that is great! Also, if you could give me some tips on downloading/installing, I would really appreciate it. As you can see, I haven't had much experience in dealing with drivers. Thank you very much. Deb

Thank you - I went ahead and downloaded/installed the new driver - Still no go. So, I ended up restoring the system to before the Vista update. Now the scroll is functioning. I really appreciate all your time and information to help me get the laptop up and running. Best regards, Deb
