I'm checking out the F3SV-A1 or B1 or X1. I see this feature:

Catch Your Favorite TV Programs on the Notebook*

With the F3Sv’s built-in DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial) feature. With both analog and hybrid (analog + DVB-T) built-in TV tuner, wireless TV broadcasting right out of the notebook is possible whenever and wherever. *Please check the availability of this feature on the company website: www.asus.com. Features available may very in each region.

Are you supposed to plug a coax cable in the back so that you can watch analog or digital tv with your house antenna? Seems ridiculous or is there something I'm missing?

Looks to me like a feature I don't need and would rather not pay for if there was an alternative. The rest of the features of the F3SV series look almost perfect for my needs. -- I wouldn't mind a smaller screen and maybe 1.25 lbs lighter.

Is this the Santa Rosa platform that I've heard about?

From what I've read, it's a wireless broadcast thang that is just now being introduced. www.dvb.org Why the're including it I have no idea except perhaps because it is apparently really moving fast in Asia, Asus' traditional, strong market.
