I orderd this from Dell about 3 days ago and it is scheduled to arrive on Monday. I can't wait to fire this baby up and try out the sweet X-Fi goodness on my M1710. Anyone else getting this?

I got it. It is sweet. It makes my MP3s sound a whole lot better. You will enjoy it as much as I am.

Does this card support ASIO (The low latency audio interface standard that the Audigy2ZS notebook supported) as there is no information about it on the Creative website.
I'm wondering if the card really is a true Expresscard or whether it's just a USB card in an Expresscard format (making use of the two embedded USB channels in the Expresscard slot, rather than the PCI-Express bus).

You may want to look into the ASIO4ALL driver, which works on many soundcards, including the Sigmatel chip in the i9400/E1705.

Ok the X-Fi notebook does not support ASIO. It does have EAX support and it sounds good. It has all the X-Fi features of the XtremeAudio desktop card.
