LOL, I put some old feet from my broken dvd player. Easy peasy.. Unscrew from dvd player, poke small hole into rubber feet, use screws from dvd player and viola! Raised my laptop off my table, and the airflow is increased by 200%..

Looks good - nice job. Not sure though, that your machine looks like a "laptop" anymore.

Pretty cool idea! Looks kinda factory. Well done.

that actually does look good, though it also looks like typing would be a pita.
I prefer the folding feet that you put in the back so the keyboard is slanted making typing more comfortable.

I dont use the keyboard or mousepad on the laptop. I've got a sweet USB keyboard from Dell and a nice gaming mouse I use. Only problem with the feet is, it's not inteded to be moved around. This laptop stays downstairs on the coffee table. I did have to remove them when I packed it up and went on the road, but as long as you dont move it around too much it's all good.
The air flow is way better and it does look pretty cool.

I would describe the look as badass!

nice work but i doubt it will fit into the transporting bag? cant you just unscrew it when you need to move around in the bag?

hm, i use cut wine corks under the xps.

Double sided tape on the desk, and velcro on the other side.

Your setup looks good, i have some feets like that.

But i think the velcro situation is easier in everyday use.

That's a great idea with the double sided velcro.
