I recently purchased a D470v ( Sager np4780) and have some questions which I couldn't find an answer for.
First of all, the integrated wireless 802.11b module is not receiving a very good signal, plus the signal shuts down completely from now and then. I have been using a sitecom router and usb receiving module without any problems before this, but the intergrated module doesn't seem to pick up the signal too well. I have read a thread on problems with the 802.11g module used in the 5680 which had similar issues and which were later fixed with a new driver Adam posted, but I couldn't find anything for the 4780.
Secondly I have installed some games to test the system. C&C generals and Halo seem to run fine, but Call of Duty; X2 the threat and Need for speed underground all ask me on startup to put the correct cd in the drive even if the correct cd is in the drive. Read that could be some driver issues, but I tried the official drivers provided on the cd, the 7.95 from sager and the omega's, all with the same problem. I also tried to disable autoplay, but nothing has worked.
