Cyberpower

Ok, I was looking for an affordable semi gaming laptop, but everywhere I went they wanted like $1200 for it. I was looking on here and saw an ad for cyberpowerpc. I clicked it customized a laptop and it came to be only $965. Getting to the point....

Has anyone ever had a cyberpower pc, used one, or even heard of this place? Just looking for comments to see if they make reliable PCs.

I've looked at them. From the comments I've read, it seems like they're kinda flaky and hit-or-miss. Some folks had great experiences with them and some had awful experiences. One constant is that most of their stuff takes forever to get built and shipped (approximately a month from what I've read). However, they do tend to be dirt cheap for most of the stuff they sell, so I guess there are still reasons to order from them. However, I wouldn't.

My only concern with the reseller rating is the fact that every single reviewer I saw had only 1 post (which just happened to be Cyberpower)

Personally I would stick with a major brand if you can. You might pay a little more, but you know what you are getting...

although my system came from ibuypower, i did have an experience with cyberpower. their customer service is very good and friendly i'd say. although the facts on their RMAs and initial shipments taking forever is generally true. build quality really does not depends on them but rather the OEM....

I purchased my MSI 1029 notebook from them. I found the service to be horrible, slow, and rude. Both my friend and I (he had also purchased a comp from them) have found the overall product to be poorly produced. Have had problems since day 1, and once they are done with your order they would rather not deal with you, or any End User for that matter.

I've had my desktop from them for about 3 years and had 0 problems, I definitely didn't wait a month for it to be built and shipped either. I guess it could have been the hit-or-miss but when I buy a new laptop it's coming from them.
