SolApathy, We recently just had the house tested after putting in another line for our pool and everything tested within spec, and the UPS isn't setting off any alarms either.

Alright, here's my opinion: stop calling Dell. E-mail them. Go through the standard e-mail technical (or customer) support, explain the problem, and if that doesn't solve it, take the case number that you're assigned and take it to Unresolved Issues:
It'll allow you to e-mail someone in the USA that has authority to do a lot, and in my experience they tend to help you out with some of the most unreasonable requests (IE free upgrades, like the whole 7800 Go to 7900 GS fiasco a while back).
