Universal Ac Adapter for my sentia

hello everyone
i'm planning to buy a sentia m3450 through the US and send it to israel
(in the us: 2000$, in israel: 4500$) that's why.

i have one unsolved issue:
the US uses a 110V power source and in here we use a 220-240V outlet.

we have no alienware shops here so i cant get the specific ac adapter for my outlet (shape and voltage). alienware say they can supply me with a european one from the US. and they say it's not auto-switching so i cant use the original one...

my question is this:
does anyone know if i can use a univeral ac adapter for my sentia and if so, what voltage do i need and how can i know the size of the power connector ?

(if anyone has bought one plz let me know the type)

p.s. mobility is highly important so i preffer not to carry Extra stuff..

thanks

The AC adapter on the Sentia can be connected to a 100-200V AC power outlet.

You can try this universal power adaptor:

http://www.igo.com/product.asp?sku=3541433

They say it works with the Sentia m3450 (based on their list) and can be connected to either 100V-240V power outlets. Keep in mind that Alienware does not support third party products used with their systems.

You should try contacting them first and see if it works with your system and in your country.

israel's power grid runs on 230-240V, so that wont work...

i did. they said i cant use the original one from the US. i could use the one from IGO but it's pretty expensive, and unaveliable in israel so, any other ideas ? update: i found this one: http://www.sollan.co.il/sale.asp?pid=2313 dont mind the hebrew just look at the picture specs: input: 110-230~1.5A,50-60Hz output: 15-24V,4.5A max, 90W do you think it will work ? it sound pretty close to what alienware give.

These are the output specs for the Sentia's AC adapter.

AC Adapter: 20V, 65W output; 100-200V AC, 50/60 Hz input

So far, it seems it will work from the looks of it.
