I am using Dell 6000 D with Celeron and ati x300. I want to upgrade my cpu to pentium M. Is it possible ?

Possible, yes quite a straight-forward upgrade. Worth it? Well.... that depends on what you use the notebook for, and what the current Celeron you have is and what the intended upgrade CPU speed is. Are you upgrading for the hell of it or are you genuinely needing more speed? More info please
