White Bar w/ stripes on the bottom of the Screen! HELP! *pic

It's been about a year since i bought my dv1000 (dv1688us) and was I was using it, a white bar appears at the bottom of the screen So I'm looking for advice on what to do. here's a picture of what the screen looks like

your screen has tab seperation. time to buy a new lcd. go check on ebay. you should be able to get one for cheap
