Hello everyone, I have This clevo D900K case/Lap top, when I bought it it came with Xp but it was Vista Ready, when I installed Vista Ultimate the damn thing won't turn off or restart unless I keep the Power Button Pressed for 5 seconds
Can Anyone help me?

And I have tried the "shut down and reset" tabs

Thank you

Could be a software not shutting down, could be a problem with hardware.
If you've updated all your software and hardware and still haven't found the issue, the best idea would be a clean install of Windows

I had this problem until I installed the VIA Hyperion Pro Driver Package 5.11a, I have since tried the latest version as well (5.12a) and the s/d problem reappeared, so I have reverted back to (5.11a) and all is well. Hope this helps.

Maybe the delay can be adjusted by altering a registry constant. Try posting the question in one of Microsoft's forums.
