man, seems like ages ago since i started this thread! so long ago, i forgot my original log in, and had to get a new one. lol.
not a lot new in physical security. i have discovered the coolness that is Sandboxie though. Definitely a great way to defeat malware, and a good backup to normal security software.
These are all after-the-fact solutions: the laptop's already stolen. Personally I think an ounce of prevention equals a pound of cure. And the best thing I can think of is to simply keep an eye --and hand-- on the laptop all the times when taking it anywhere.
