Ok so I've got a strange problem I'm hoping somone can help me with! I've had my 1705 for a little bit now and have attached a Free Agent Drive, USB (250gb), to one of the rear usb ports. i also have a powered usb 2.0 4 port hub attached to one of the rear usb ports. to that powered hub i have one usb attached to my printer, and the other two to the dell supplied usb tuner. now my problem. If i keep everything plugged into the back of my laptop and power on, the computer never turns on. It goes to the windows logo screen and then the screen just turns black. i have to physically hard reset the laptop, unplug ALL the usb connections, then turn back on. At this point it works normally, and i reconnect the usb devices. I have checked the bios settings and have "disabled" the computers ability to use the external hard drive or usb port as boot up device. it doesnt even have a number next to it anymore. is there something else i'm missing? Its not that big of a deal to boot up the way i do know, but sometimes i forget and have to "redo" the process to get up and running. i'm running a 1705 with 2 gigs ram, t7200 processor, and the latest bios A08. thanks for any help!
