just for you guys getting yours soon... if you ordered 2 gigs of ram.. call AW and get a refund for the price differance cuase now its 150 for the upgrade instead of 270-300

Grrr....... I ordered my 9750 on 5/16 and now it dropped back to phase 3 The back ordered parts were suppoes to be in yesterday so I expected to see my laptop move up thru the process not backwards.
Man this is getting annoying.

The system is undergoing the final stage of the Alienware 200-Point Quality Control Process. An Alienware Quality Inspector is in charge of inspecting your system from top to bottom for any obvious or latent defects. Our Inspectors are seasoned technicians/engineers and are very experienced in the art of perfection. Note: If the system does not pass any of our performance standards, the system may have to go back to an earlier production phase and it may slightly delay your order.

Phase 8 to shipping happened in the same day on my last 2 laptops from Alienware... its definitely possible and maybe even likely, but who knows... once you're in phase 8 you're practically done.
