I use an Evo N800c and I there is something wrong with the USB.
When I use an USB soundcard, the audio crackles in every media player and audio software. Now two days ago, I bought a cardbus soundcard and this interface works without a problem until I use my Logitech USB mouse. As soon as I move the mouse, my cpu meter goes all the way up and I get hickups in my audio programs. Yesterday I installed a program from an USB hard disk and after the installation, I had a blue screen.
Note: when I install windows XP in standard mode (not ACPI), those USB problems are gone but other problems came along so I reinstalled XP in ACPI mode.
Has this got something to do with an IRQ conflict? Because in the Device Manager, no conflicts are present. I can make a screenshot from the IRQ list if needed. All help appreciated. I have spend loots of cash on the new soundcard
