Hey guys,
the problem is this, i load up the computer and everything runs normally. I can go onlne and my XPS laptop detects the ethernet cord no problem. Now, once i launch up World of Warcraft, i can play for around 5 minutes till the "An Internet Cable has been Unplugged" bubble flashes on the bottom right corner. It pops up and dissapears meaning that my XPS laptop detects the ethernet cord of a split second and fails to detect it again. Extreme internet lag is then experienced then i am totally offline and the bubble flashes extremely slow. AFter i close World of Warcraft and wait about 15 minutse, the connection reestablished.
I have done some test and here are the info i think may be the problem.
just Dled SpeedFan 4.32, the results are quite amazing...
i dled speedfan and ran it.. this is what it displayed
Before Wow Ran, the CPU usage was on around 18% and the temperatures are
HD0: 42C
Temp1: 64C
Core0: 63 C
Core1: 62
Thats already pretty high, but then after WoW ran ThE CPU Usage went up to around 42-50%
temperatures are:
HD0: 42C
Temp1: 67C
Core0: 81C
Core1: 79C
ALso, we can rule out its the modem's fault because i have a 2wire modem with a router integrated into it, and i am now using a copmuter hooked up to the sam 2wire modem and playing WoW completely fine... ALso, i chekced several cords too, they all have the same problem with the XPS
i updated my internet card's driver, and tried to restore my comp setting to before this problem occurred, none of them worked..
much help would be appreciated...
