505XL not backordered

so appearantly the 505XL is not backordered. I ordered one tonight and the estimated shipping date is 4/8 with 2nd day shipping so we'll see if Gateway can come through on that one!

I ordered my M505xl on Friday March 26th, and by the 3oth it had been shipped out already. I am scheduled to recieve it on the 5th of April. 7 Days earlier than promised, so kudos to Gateway. I am curious to see which hard drive I revieve, the 4200rpm or 5400 rpm. I asked the sales agent to confirm it was at 5400rpm and he said yes, but could not gaurantee it 100% asit does state on the web that specifications are subject to change, so we'll see.

So far very happy with Gateway.

ahh gotcha.. i hope i get the 5400rpm drive but i doubt it.. if not then i'll just order a new 7200rpm drive

update:

ordered on the 30th, shipped out on the 3rd, estimated arrival date: april 6th!
