m1210 RAM : 1GB --> 2GB worth it?

I'm running XP on my m1210 that I bought last summer. I currently have 1GB of RAM in 2 512MB sticks. I am debating now whether or not to upgrade to 2GB of ram. Things to consider:

(1) cost - not a big issue because of current deals on memory,
(2) hassle - I don't know how I feel about prying off the keyboard to get at the 2nd memory module
(3) performance benefit - is it worth it?

I would very much appreciate the opinion of anyone who has done this or simply has something to say about it. Thanks!

It would depend on what GPU you have. If you have intel crap, I wouldn't even bother, but if you have nvidia one, I think it's worth it in games.

With memory at these crazy prices....why not buy the 2nd GB?

The Crucial Ballistix I bought last year For $300 is over $100 less in price now. I'm tempted to buy a whole bunch and hold onto it then wait for the prices to go up and start selling it.

buy a 2gb memory, i have the same dilemma in prying off the keyboard to open the memory slot, but i think its better to buy a 2gb and change the one under the laptop and prices now have dropped.
