Really? Strange I've never encountered a problem with wow. Been playing it since a month or so after retail release. Aside from the minor overheating problems I had once or twice playing on my inspiron 8200 (32 MB GeForce 4 go FTW!!!), I've had no graphics issues playing since I got my old 9300 (6800 go originally then 7800 GTX). I've never applied any special patch. And what do you mean a major problem with nvidia and ati vid cards? Remove those two and what do you have left? Unless you mean laptop cards?
