Problems With PCTORQUE.COM

Thread Starter
I have been searching the net for a way to get in contact with the guys at pctorque since apparently they get weeks off of work at a time or something. I placed an order for a computer a long time ago over a month actually and since there were too many complications I decided to cancel the order. I cancelled the order using their online instant message chat system or whatever since the numerous phone and email messages were never returned. Just to make sure things would go better than they had been, I had the guy send me a confirmation of the cancellation and refund via email. However, it has been over 2 weeks now and I have still am being charged for an order that I cancelled and I have not been refunded

PCtorque is really getting to my nerves as they dont seem to ever return calls or email messages; not to mention no one ever picks up the phone. I have called on several different "regular" business days and nobody ever picks up the phone or responds to emails... I think I have been patient enough with them since its been a little over a month since I originally placed my order.

Anyways, I saw that they apparently post on these forums so I was wondering if either one of them could help me out or someone else could give me some suggestions. I would greatly appreciate any help.

PCTorque no longer has any association with NBF apart from being a sponsor. Nobody that runs NBF has anything to do with the management at PCTorque.

I'd say call your credit card company and explain the situation. Especially if PCT has been ignoring your e-mails. They should be able to get something done.

I'm moving this thread over to the Sager section. Charles@PCtorque hangs out there and hopefully will see this thread.

- PM Chares@PCtorque and see if that gives you any relief.
- Contact your credit card company; explain the situation- dispute the charges
- Don't post the same thing twice. Not necessary.

Good luck.

This is not the typical PCtorque i have dealt with for the past 3-4 years for my business. I am assuming they must be on vacation or something because i last heard from them on 6/12 (last monday) concerning one of my notebook orders. But i have yet to hear back on an update on the status of the order since i placed it back in the end of may. In the past PCtorque has always been very good about communicating order status as well as customer service, so I can only assume that either they are taking a vacation or moving offices or something. Hope to hear from them soon.

Guess I'm not the only one having problems with the current owners of PCTorque. I received confirmation of my order only to have no confirmation of my order status later. When I checked online via their online PM system they said "the laptops were having problems" It's been awhile since I've last heard from them.

Do to the numerous amount of posts with this same issue maybe there should be sticky that just focuses on this.

There are many web sites dedicated to rating resllers and customers posting their experiences. This web site is dedicated to the OEMs of the systems and the discussion of them. While NBF isn't against reseller discussion, they try to stay impartial on it.
