Does anyone know when the new high end gaming laptops are coming out? I'm checking out the xps laptops but I'd rather wait until the new ones get here. But I dont know how long that will be...

sometime in the next few months, the big question around here has been when the 8800 series mobile GPU would be released, nothing that been released so far is a serious contender

There's alot of speculation around that the 8800M is going to be released in some form in July. With the new systems coming out, I'd keep an eye out for something high end next month.

If you can wait hold off - and the 8800 is really the only contender against the existing 7950 or 7900.

so 8800 is the new chipset by intel? i hope i dont have to wait until christmas!

No the 8800 is referring to the new graphics processor by NVidia.

The new Motherboard chipset is the SantaRosa
