E1705 / 17" Widescreen Laptop Cooler.

Does anyone have a link to a "GOOD" laptop cooler for this model. One that actually covers the entire base of the laptop.

I'm interested in using it in my LAP, not on a desktop... and most of the coolers I see would not work well while resting in your lap in bed, or in a chair.

Thanks!

This is gonna sound ghetto but... I use an empty binder. It's cheap, comfy, and it works, the laptop doesn't cook my organs.

Better than mine. I use couple of water caps on each side by fans.

I use a bed in breakfast table. Like when ur sick and ur mom brings in ur medicine (that tastes like liquefied poop)

They have lots of space and fit nicely

I actually worked as an engineer for a furniture company, and I got our sample department to make me a 1/4" piece of laminated board, black on all sides, with a nice thick paper on it... so it looks professional... it's half an inch bigger than my laptop in all demensions, but it doesn't have any fans.... that's why I was looking.

The board works well for gaming, I just wouldn't mind dropping off a few extra Degrees when playing WoW, Fear, or NWN2...

O well, they just don't make 17" coolers yet... maybe in a year or two. I've had this problem since I bought my first 17" widescreen 3 years ago.

If you have something to rest the laptop on, why is it necessary to have a cooler that covers the base of the laptop? Unless thats just your personal preference I guess

This looks like the Cooler Master Notepal W1 Notebook Cooler. There is a $10 mail in rebate which expires 6/30 at hardware cooling
