DV9000 HDMI Question

I formatted my DV9000 to Windows XP and tried playing a .avi file through windows media player over HDMI. Anyone know the software youd need to do this and to actually ahve audio over HDMI because even when I play a game i only get audio from the laptop. Thanks

Um, think about it for a minute. Your HDMI port is provided by the NVidia graphics card. Can your NVidia graphics card play sound? Mine can't either.

but is there a software that will alllow the .avi file to be played on the TV with HDMI
