Gaming Headset ? - Page 2

Why are headset mics all on the left ear these days? Is it just me or anyone else annoyed by that?

I can't stand having the mic on my left ear. Seems very annoying. Don't ask me why.

I caved. Bought the Senheisser PC166 USB from Amazon. Love it.

Rather than trying to find a combination gaming headset that has a built-in microphone, I'd start by finding the best quality headphones first, and then buy a separate clip-on microphone from Radio Shack or Zalman. Seems to work out better than finding a combination headset where neither the headphones nor the microphone are above average quality.

Yeah joe my headset just started falling apart No sound no nothing
I'm probably gonna buy some new Seinheisers (sp?), I love that company.

REALLY comfy and GREAT when they work, when, is the key word.

Mine died after less than 6 months

I bought some altec lansing ones from the local target and they work nicely, one of the ear pieces fell off, but crazy glue fixed it perfectly
