Cleaning your laptops LCD.

My 4780 has a few smudges on it I can't seem to get off with a napkin, or papertowel. I dare not touch it as it will get even more smudges. Are there any type of solutions, or cleaners for LCD screens that wont damage it? I'm afraid to use any liquid.

Just get 3M Scotch Brite High Performance Cleaning Cloths, despite the fancy name, they are cheap and readily available at most supermarkets, drugstores, etc. You don't need to use any cleansers or liquids. They clean amazing well and will not scratch. However, they could pick up something that could scratch so you need to keep them clean, but they are washable and last nearly forever. I have a set I bought 5 years ago. Still work as good as new. Great for any other smooth surface, TV screens, Microwaves, Refrigerators, lenses, windows, table tops, you name it.
