Latitude D600 Resolution Problem

I am using the Latitude D600 and I have some Resolution Problem.
Two or three day before it was working fine and when I started my Laptop the DELL logo display on the full screen and when I select “800 x 600” Resolution in the windows it automatically set the Picture on the Full screen.
But now I thing some setting has changed and starting “DELL LOGO” window become small and appears in the center of the screen and when I select “800 x 600” Resolution in the windows it did not set it automatically on the full screen, it appear in the center of the screen and the outer part of screen remains blank.
So can any one please tell me that how can I set the picture on the full screen?

Fn+F7 I beleive is the key to turn LCD scaling on and off. I can't remember off the top of my head.

But problem is still there and not Solved with Fn + F7
