Sony VAIO VGN-FZ140E/B

Hey every one im new here and i have been looking for a good laptop for my-self. I been looking at the Sony VAIO VGN-FZ140E/B. I dont know much about laptops my self im kinda a desktop guy... but ya so Im gona need it for my flash and dreamweaver I want some thing runing vista, have a fast prosser and at least 160gb hdd.t\and that is under $1250. is there any thing that other that the sony I have been looking at, also iS that sony any good for what I need? (I don't want a mac) And my mom want to get some anti-badstuff-blocker thing (Im under 15, and I still make flash games!) So could you help me?

I have the vgn1407e. It comes preloaded with windows vista which is great unless you need to use software with your computer that is not vista compatible. I bought this laptop a week ago with the intent to use it to edit video. The problem, the software i need to use for work dose not support Vista yet.Which means I had to install XP. After a week of trying to get XP installed I had to pay someone to do it for me. Now the big problem. Everything works except the sound drivers. I called Sony Tech Support only to be informed since it came preloaded with Vista they don't support XP. They referred me to the sound board mfr.'s web site but was still unable to get working drivers. I bought an external sound card which works with windows but again the video editing software dose not recognize the sound card. So now my laptop is only good for surfing the net and playing games until either Sony releases a driver for xp or the edit software becomes vista compliant. Overall the Laptop is very fast but you may want to wait to purchase vista systems until more programs become compatible. Make sure that Dreamweaver and flash are vista compatible. (I haven't kept up with what is vista compatible.)
