does it really take a month to recieve??...anyway looking forward to ur review from what i see im a bit skeptical about it, not sure it will live up to the m1210... in terms of bang for buck

I'm quoted a ship date of 7/29/07, so yep, it looks like a month's wait. Hopefully sooner, but we'll see I guess.

The rep I deal with gave me a much earlier ship date.......but Dell site shows ship date of 7/29. A date so good I don't want to say,because it will cause a riot................I buy a sh** load of system from this guy. So I don't think he would bull sh** me.

I'm interested what date he gave you. I'm not sure there'll be any riots, since Dell dates often change. I'd check your online order status, because it's probably more accurate than what any rep will tell you.

Hi guys

I was assured by Dell Taiwan that it will be ready to be delivered on July 10th, but I guess it varies depending on your region. Personally I'm a little sceptical, though, as the Dell Taiwan's M1330 order page has since been removed and some of the facts are still slightly out (e.g. the graphics card is listed as 'NVIDIA® GeForceTM Go 8600V with 128MB DDR3 dedicated graphic memory'. If only, ha

I ordered both the M1710 and the M1210 when they were new, and in both cases the ship date was 1 month out initially, but the actual arrival date only ended up being around 2 weeks from the date they were announced.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much, but I'll still be surprised if they really don't arrive until 7/29. I have my money on a week from Monday, but that's pure, unadulterated speculation.

This will be a good test for my Senior Account Manager At Dell.........If it ships when he said..........Have to say he knows.....But when the order status says ship date of 7/29 Makes me think bull. I hope the date he gave me is right.........If not I gess I will wait.

Oh agreed. I ordered the M1210 when it was new, and I recall it being much sooner, too. Guess we'll find out.

I'd love to hear about the fingerprint reader and how well it works with Vista log ins. I'm really tempted to get one, but even with the 12% off with EPP in Canada it's still pretty expensive.

I configured one fully loaded and came to about $2750 CAD with 3yr on-site warranty (taxes and all included). Dell Canada is gouging us up here.

I'd buy a 1330 today if it had a Blue-Ray or HD-DVD drive. Of course I really would prefer a little more easily upgradable drive so I could wait for the HD drive format wars to shake out. but I do like the idea of no damn CD drive tray coming out..

I placed an order for the m1330 on Tuesday but I never received the "order confirm" email. So I called dell, and they told me to place another order if I don't get the email within the next day. So yesterday I placed another order, and I have yet to recieve that "order confirm" email.

Anyone else having this issue?

I had that problem. I ended up having to look up the order myself and I discovered that my original order had indeed been placed properly. Try looking up your order here: https://support.dell.com/support/ord...=us&l=en&s=gen
