Fujitsu T3010 Power Jack

Thread Starter
The power input jack on a Fujitsu T3010 (tablet) has a little ring in the center. This one has disappeared, so the power adapter plug will not seat; it just wiggles.

Can I get this little ring, or a new jack? And is it, or they, easy to install?

Are step-by-step instructions available?

Any information welcome.

u can replace the power jack by:
. doing urself or
. send it in to a good shop

doing urself takes some patience and a "no blame anyone" attitude when things go wrong. Step.by.step for specific latop is hard to come by, but http://www.9manuals.com/Index.htm?id...FQQvYQod2gdYSQ offers it for a price. check out the net first, u might be lucky

one of many shop reference:

Thanks, qhn.

The 9manuals.com site looked promising, but the only Fujitsu manuals listed are 'User Manuals', not service manuals. If it's a plug-in part and doesn't require soldering, shouldn't be too hard. But I need to know first. The tablet is in daily use, and I can't take it apart unless I can fix it quickly.

it would require soldering :-(
a shop would be recommended if u r worried about tinkering, it is quite understandable. search for "laptop power jack repair" and u will get bunch of hits. good luck
