Sweet! 12000 3dmark05 beats any other notebook i'v seen. Just a quick note, as i hear this a lot.
|Although the display is absolutely gorgeous for gaming and media, it will take some getting used to for simple tasks like browsing the web or going through folders, since the text size is very small.
Its very simple to correct this, and its included with Windows.
Open Display from the control panel, click the settings tab, then advanced. on that General tab you will see DPI setting with a default of 96 DPI, try changing this to 110 to 120 ish for a UXGA screen.
this way you can keep the UXGA res but just raise the DPI, this will not effect your gaming in any way =)
this shold solve your "small text" problem. PS this function works MUCH better in VISTA, but they still dont support SLI, so dont upgrade yet =)
