Hi all. I have an old Inspiron 4100 with the following the stats:

Geforce 2go 32mb
256mb Ram
20gb 4100rpm HD
866mhz Processor

Also, it's fan in the rear corner is dead.

I am planning on upgrading the processor to a 1.2, the ram to 640mb, and replacing the dead fan/keyboard. I have tried to take it apart but I'm failing miserably, if there is any guides or any tips people could give me I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, my power button doesn't work very well. You have to push very hard and hold it down for the system to power on, any ideas what this could be?

Any help is seriously greatly appreciated! I'm good with desktops but taking this notebook apart is baffling my mind!
