m9750 shipping day

I´v read from other forums, that ALienware ships the m9750 today.
well, guys if you got your m9750s please do some good reviews ASAP.I know you are out there.
and if you could please upload some videos when gaming.
(and don´t forget the HEAT when gaming)

That'd be retarded to me. I only changed the optical drive and requested Respawn (which has nothing to do with the build process) and it wasn't even being built yet.

unfortunately optical drive is out of stock for 7 days now... you will be delayed unfortunately...

if you got knocked back to phase 3 of the process then something is on delay... Also, when i was delayed for a part I never received an email, its always better to call them to find out...

I recieved an e-mail notice (imagine that) from AW today. Strange... since it's sunday.

"There will be a slight delay in your Alienware order, because the part(s) listed
below are temporarily backordered. We apologize for any inconvenience this may
cause, and assure you that we are doing everything in our power to expedite the
process of obtaining the part(s). Once the part(s) have been obtained, your
order will be processed.

Looks like they'll have the parts in tommorrow.

Yeah, so was I. They haven't in the past. Up til now I've been sorta underwhelmed with AW's customer service. Oh well, the real test will be tommorow when I find out how accomodating they are in refunding me the $120 difference for the RAM upgrade price change. I sure hope they don't tell me that it'll delay my order.

it shouldnt delay your order if you already have it built into your m9750.. When the shipping charges went down they refunded me the difference with no hassle. I didnt get the 2 gigs of RAM since the price was so high that im getting mine from newegg. Hopefully my computer will be shipping really soon maybe by tuesday if im lucky before the 4th..

That's good to hear. Who should I talk to about the refund: customer service or billing dept. ?
What did 2 gigs cost you on newegg if you don't mind me asking? The prices I got on crucial and tom's hardware weren't any cheaper than what AW was charging.

Right now the 4 GB Geil is 199.00 after the 80 rebate... When i got the refund for the shipping i talked tp the women who gave me an update on my order status and she took care of it in about a minute or two..
The 2 GB dual channel RAM is around 83.00
