Could you give an example of the reception difference? Also, do you use the PDA functions (Calendar, Notes, To-Do list, etc.)? Or do you use it just as a phone?

Psudo GPS, but still may be good enough.
I am downloading the iTunes update which I assume will install this feature on my iPhone.

I sync my iPhone with Outlook Contact, Calanders and a Pop3 mail account.
It won't sync with with my our corporate MS Exchange account.

Just finished downloading the update and from two locations the Psudo GPS works pretty accurately, It marked a house I was at and my apartment building. Would love for them to get the Iphone to work with MS Exchange for my work emails.

FWIW, I got the iPhone when it was $600 and have never regretted the purchase. I'm laying on my side in bed typing this on my iPhone right now, actually.

It's always funny to see people with smart phones saying, "my phone does more stuff," then they actually try the iPhone, hang their head, and go, "yeah, um, that is pretty damn awesome."

Is it perfect? Hell no. Is it lacking some features I'd like? Hell yes. But it's beautifully designed (both in form and function) and I'm honestly wondering how I managed to live without it now.

iPhones are lots of fun to use. But to be honest, I never considered buying one because I would inevitably scratch it up, and I hate fingerprints...

The glass face is incredibly tough... been using it in my metal shop for eight months or so with no scratches. And fingerprint smears are only noticable when it's off or outside in the bright sunlight. Wipes clean on your tshirt in about three seconds. Love it.

I just don't need to spend $600 on something I'd only want for phone calls. Out of all the technology I buy, the cell phone is the only thing I'm gonna hold out for until 2030 when I can download/stream 1080p blu-ray discs from my home player while I'm in Italy, while talking on the phone/ordering a pizza and while the phone itself is blowing me. Down with Apple and their overrated, un-upgradable, un-take-the-battery-out smudgy piece of shit.

and by that time I will boycott iTaly, go to Germany where Google has purchased that country... and while the iPhone is still blowing me, watch 103243532p movies on my gPhone, while my battery continues to last 10 years, and my memory is constantly increasing with every GB i use, then I finally tell the iPhone to stop blowing me.

Steve in 2030 is a funny thought. I wonder how epic his midlife crisis will be.
