Please try again later."

"I kinda feel like the idiot who presses the elevator button a million times !"

I check that status page too many times during the day
Mine has been in phase 5 for days and The Agony...........LOL It will probably ship some time next week? How long did your lappys stay in Phase 5?
It will be almost 2 months since the time I ordered it till the date it ships. Been a long wait for me I feel like a kid in Christmas week. I guess If it didnt kill me then It wont now LOL. So you guys that got your rigs Post some Likes/dislikes for me Let me know how your fav game runs!!

Generally it is not a Santa Rosa platform but heck, ur guys m9750s are one hell of beasts. Even i dont own one of them, basically the dislike will be the non-Santa Rosa i guess. I assume it has HDMI, Blu-ray options etc.

For dx10 options, it just not practical enuf to say it lacks in terms of that. 8800M isnt out there yet so why bother. Some ppl think they shud equipped 8700M in any of their laptop lines, but i totally against it. Alienware is about high-end computer. If we want Santa Rosa with 8600M or 8700M might as well get a Toshiba or else. Alienware delivers high-end mobile laptop for the previous technology (7xxx series gpu etc) so might as well wait for things to sort out (like 8800M comes out etc) then produce newer high-end mobile laptop. Thats how i see it tho.

I know 8700M GT is a high-end dx10 mobile card but still we need a more matured mobile gpu. Its too early to have dual-dx10 mobile card work in SLi. Even desktop's 8800gtx SLied have problem with fps right now. It is sad to see the benchies with Call of Juarez which the config chokes at 25-ish fps with 4x AA enabled.

Im still searching review that I read somewhere about the dx10 card. I'll get to back later have works to do now.

Ahahaha =( I was at Phase 4 for about a week, and just today it lapsed to Phase 3 for some stupid reason.
now that it went back to phase 3 it will quickly move to phase 5 But i have been in phase 5 for a week now! You should feel lucky, I was in phase 4 for 45+ days!

How long does it really take to put one togeather? Most peeps here passed phase 5 in a day or 2.

Serves you right for pre-ordering! Thinking ahead is to nobody's benefit, it seems! :P

Hmm. When I ordered my 9750, it claimed July 18 would be the ship date. Should I start doubting that? (if yours has been at 5 for a week...)
no most of my wait was Pre Order You definatly wont have to wait as long as most of us here I am sure it will be close the the 18th for ya.
urgh I wish I could be more patient like u guys. My needs were met if they released in Q1, as the initial announcement said it could be somewhere in Q1 and it was mentioned on Cnet.com. Q1 my A$$. It's already Q3 and some of u guys are still in delay. By the time it released, Santa Rosa is already here.
Believe me I am not patient In Fact just the opposite! It has been a rough wait for me but it is almost over and it will be worth it
post #35 of 111
I bet. It doesnt matter anymore as I already own a lappy. Actually I waited too but it seems like I have not waited long enuf. I gave up by the end of Q1, I really desperate at the time and really need a system. I was happy with the news back then telling its coming out Q1. 7/18 don't look like Q1 for me. Q1 my A$$.

mine shipped today, went to phase 8 last thursday, then out of nowhere when back to phase 6 on friday, it finally shipped today and should be in my hands on friday of this week. i'll let you guys know if the wait is worth it... :P

edit* why are there 2 packages?

Hat comes in a box by itself
you serious? hmm... waste of a few trees there, i was wondering why there was a separate package weighing .6 lbs. no offense to alienware, but i would never be caught dead wearing an alienware hat or tshirt... i don't mind having a laptop though.
yeah i was thinking the 2 lbs box had some the cables in it or the book they send you with the cds in it but the hat in the box was a waste of my money... and my time opening it up..
