Looking at my original order confirmation e-mail I can't find it... I placed the order on June 9th though. Later on I made changes to my order and there were so many backorders on parts (screen, optical drive) that it would be moot anyways. But once I got to phase 5 it flew through the rest. In fact.... I just got notice that my order shipped. So that's less than two days from phase 5 to out-the-door. Impressive. Think I'll make a BestBuy run this afternoon... new system deserves a new game. I'm thinking either SupCommander or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. any suggestions?

Rainbow 6: Vegas. It is quite easily one of the best FPS games I've ever played.

STALKER is pretty meh. The controls and engine are clunky. Plus, hitting enemies in the head doesn't do additional damage. It's a very lame shooter. Never tried Supreme Commander though...

Oooh. Hows about Overlord, if you aren't up for R6:V? Both are excellent games =)

My original ship date was July 3rd and after many delays.....i'm in phase 6

Called last thursday and the lady was like "it will ship monday or tuesday i'm sure of it!"...

Called today and the guy was like "Yeah it might ship friday or monday or even later I really have no idea."

----At least 1 is honest

Well ... the normal procedure is for them to ship from Miami to Orlando -- then south again.

Im opting R6:V but Im already in a clan for GRAW:2 (i play on GRAW:2 multiplayer demo). the game is coming out this 17th. GRAW 2 is not bad i dont think its the best but im pretty good at it so.. about STALKER i do have it its kinda hard for the single player mode. Headshots varies like sometimes its super-lethal like any normal games but sometimes it seems out of logic. U can shot him like 3 times in the head but he stil wont die. I think there is a patch so it might fix that. STALKER is a different yet considerably good game. U can try it, IMO it's fun. Surpreme Commander is like Transformer ftw haha. There's a weird fact about SC. SC has the advantage of playing in dual-monitor (which means it is more advantageous to have 2 monitors as it supports it; yes both are not the same pictures). However, SLi don't work in dual-monitor. So i think it wont be a great game for the lappy itself as u guys want to use the dual-7950gtx in SLi rite? That is the different between AW's and any other brands anyway.

Nooo!!! I missed the first delivery attempt, will Fedex attempt the shipping again today?

Does anyone know when the package will be returned to the FEDEX/ Postal office?

It will attempts 3 times. If u miss 3 times, it will be send back to AW if u dont notify Fedex. Other choice could be inform Fedex that u want to pick it up urself. Read that door tag they left u. sigh.

Try calling the FEDEX number - explain you missed your very important shipment and verify what the options are. A slight possibility you can arrange to pick it up this evening (altho not possible if the truck is already back at the depot) - but verify they will deliver it tomorrow - and make sure someone is there to sign for it !!!
