MY m9750 HAS SHIPPED!! - Page 5

Well, it shipped today! Shipped at 5:30pm from FL. I live in TX, so we'll see. I sent it to a relative's home about 100 miles away from I live, since it needs to be signed for (and I'd be at work whenever it came by). I didn't pay for any snazzy shipping... Think it'll come by Saturday or will I hafta wait until Monday? If it comes Monday, I won't be able to get it until the following Friday (can't leave Houston once the work week starts).

It ships on Saturday if it's Fedex Ground.

Yay! Arrived today! or 7/12/07

Does anyone know how to use the internet?
I can't seen to connect to a Wireless Access Point, it says limited, does anyone else have that problem?
I'm also planning to by extra RAM for my laptop, is it possible to buy one 2GB and one 1GB RAM for my laptop?

Ok, I just ran 3DMark06 again with nothing runing and I top out at 4075. As anybody else ran 3dMark06 and got different results?

Hi, about the wireless, are connecting to your own router or others? Does it have security access like WEP or WPA ? Im really not that good with this but I myself own a Linksys router. So far my achievement is to hide its SSID broadcast and do WEP password protected. So i believe u could be more specific on that or other option might be other forummers might come to the rescue. Yes u can bought 2GB and 1GB for ur laptop, but make sure u getting the right one (like DDR2 and stuffs). I bet ur using 32bit XP or Vista as from my knowledge, only 64bits can utilize the whole 4GB. 32bits only covers up to 3GB. I hope this helps.

dhonzik, i think that is a little bit too low for your spec. Is it SLi-enabled? U might want to enable it by right click ur desktop => Nvidia Display => Laptop Display => SLI bla bla just enable it. Dont tell me ur using Vista. If ur using Vista, that is understandable. Try to off everything and see ur m9750's true power. plus im running dual-7900gs's yet i score higher than u so it doesnt make sense. Dont get too furious as there must be something is going on.. it wont be AW's fault for any reason (sorry sometimes this happens so.. ) It could be the 3dmark06 itself, I have seen lower score on 3Dmark06 for 7950gtx SLi than its predecessor. notebookcheck.net still, u score lower than u shud.

My 3DMark 06' score was 8,820 from the factory.
Doom 3: 159.6 fps

Yes, I am running Vista with beta driver, My first attempt to enable SLI caused the screen to go blank. I had to delete that version of the display driver to get it to work again. This version of the drivers don't seem to have the ability to enable the second card

oo? thank you for sharing. Did u get dual 7950gtx? Pardon me, I dont get why it seems to me like it's too expensive? Did u mean 2800? I thot the starting price is 2099? I see u get 1400 x 900 bla bla, but I dont see anything huge that included to add it another 1800usd more..

Oh yes I forgot, I also got 2 extra batteries, the odyssey bag, respawn, and the vehicle adapter. Sorry that I didin't mention those but it didn't cross my mind until now.

Oh i see, that's make more sense to me. So u have 3 batteries? I bet ur always on the go and couldnt afford to plug-in all the time? hehe i understand.. the odssey bag is kinda messy but it pawns.. it does it work so.. vehicle adaptor i dont have that but i bet it's useful.
