You have to add them. Go to Edit and click New then Binary Value. Make thier value 01.

Choose from 0000 to 00xx....or find the path filter\ear In rear add two new binary value as follow 1 & 2, and modify the value of 3 & 4: 1 DigitalInputMonitor = hex:01 (Add Binary Value) 2 DigitalStereoMix = hex:01 (Add Binary Value) 3 MasterControlsIndependentMixerInputs = hex:00 (Change 01 to 00) 4 EnableInputMonitor = hex:01 (Change 00 to 01) Then Restart Your Computer....Stereo Mix is now enable.... You Can Now Record Streaming Audio from Internet! & Audacity is now supported! Please Download & install the Latest Driver from Dell before you do this, & don't install SB Advance MB. for some computers, they may have bad sound come out when playing CD or DVD after modified the regedit, there are two ways to solve 1. format your PC & install a clean windows XP, don't use dell restore. 2. change your regedit back to original when you want to play CD or DVD. Hi Matthew
I am just writing to thank you for your help with this. I found your thread through Jamcast and your registry hack now means that I can hear music from Spotify over my SoundBridge in my kitchen, which I have been trying to do for ages!
In case anyone else finds this helpful, I have a Dell Dimension 5150 and the path is 0009.
Thanks again
Marty.

I am having a problem with the Stereo Mix option becoming unchecked automatically. Every time I re-start my PC it has selected Line In by default, which is a bit of a pain.

Any ideas please?

With Windows 7 all you need is to check out the stereo mix options in the "recording" tab and enable it. Make sure that you have the corresponding audio driver.

Not sure about your sound configuration here, but that error message is 99% being caused by conflicted audio drivers, possible from different audio devices other than the internal.

Un-install all related audio drivers that you currently have and re-install just the stock driver.
