How to add Subtitles to VTS/VIDEO_TS files ?

Thread Starter
I recently acquired Nero 7 and I made a VIDEO_TS directory out of 3 .avi files. (Lord of the Rings - the Fellowship of the Ring)
The VTS files are mpeg2.
I can't seem to add subtitles to this pre-burning directory.
Adding .srt files doesnt work, and the Vobedit - Txt2Sup - IfoEdit method didn't work either. The results always had a greyed out 'enable external subtitles' option in nero showtime.
However adding .srt files to the mpeg4 file made out of the same root .avi works.
Can anyone tell me how to add subtitles to VTS/VIDEO_TS files pls?

Thanks a lot

Rip the whole movie with PGcedit or rip it4me if you could still get em, then use dvd decrypter> and then dvd shrink on dvd shrink you could change your setting instead of 4.7 regular dvd or 9gb dual layer disc and custom, put custom and you should have your subtitles for main movie, incl all languages.
