1520 or 1521

Pretty much the same but what do you guys prefer? Both come to the same price.

Inspiron 1521:

Inspiron 1520:
-Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5250 (2MB cache/1.5GHz/667Mhz FSB)
-2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz, 2 Dimm
-15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA Display with TrueLife
-80gig HDD
-IntelJ Graphics Media Accelerator X3100

My desktop has an AMD processor and never had a problem. Even overclocked it. I'm a designer/flash artist so I do use up alot of resources. Which is more powerful of the two?

This laptop is like a secondary PC. I have my main desktop which I do most of my graphic work on and store my files (pictures, music, movies) on. Laptop will be used mainly for surfing, show my work to clients with, take on business trips so for watching movies on the plane. My home is like a wifi hotspot so i could pretty much take it anywhere in the house with me so its pretty convenient. I wont be doing any gaming with it.

I went through the same decision making process...

End up deciding on the 1520 with core 2 duo, then decided to go with the 1420 core 2 duo (T7100), I liked the smaller and tighter package...

From what I read on the forums and the net, a T7100 or better intel chip is better than any TL-xx AMD chip, but thats what i read.

Anyway, good luck with your purchase

-128mb NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS

I decided to upgrade the video, processor and HD but leave the memory at 1gig since i can upgrade that on my own at a much cheaper price.

What do you think?

128MB Nvidia Geforce 8400M G

ill pick up some memory from frys
120gb hdd
